Who will update all these GERS when the location meta changes? Will it be a community effort, like OSM? Who will validate them, periodically?

One of the largest supporters of Overture is MIcroSoft. In the 90’s MS tried to force UID down everyone’s throat. GERS appears to be a re-incarnation of that.
